The Taste of the World fundraiser began in 2012 as a celebration of the contributions refugees make to our community. The Refugees Northwest staff cooked for the community, and because more than 70% of our staff comes from the communities we serve, the food represented the full spectrum of our clients’ home countries. The event has grown from a few dozen attendees to more than 300. It features singing, dancing, and of course, delicious food from all over the world.
